Aevin Gadgets Ltd – Warranty, Returns & Refund Policy
This warranty policy is provided in addition to, and does not affect, any rights the consumer may have under the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.
Damaged / Defective on Arrival (DOA)
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective on arrival, please email contact@aevingadgets.com and WhatsApp 369-0574 within 48 hours of delivery.
If an exact replacement is not available, you will be advised of any suitable alternative replacement or issued store credit valid for 3 months.
Please note:
- Our Damaged on Arrival (DOA) coverage does not apply to damage caused during courier transit unless package protection was selected at checkout.
- While we understand how disappointing this may be, Aevin Gadgets Ltd makes every effort to securely package all items to minimize the risk of damage during transit.
- All customers have the option to pay an additional fee for package protection, where available. (Cost determined by the courier.)
Warranty Replacements or Refunds
Most products sold by Aevin Gadgets Ltd come with a Standard 30-Day Warranty, unless otherwise stated.
If your product becomes defective within the warranty period and is eligible for coverage, please contact us at contact@aevingadgets.com.
Warranty replacements can only be provided for eligible products within 30 days of the delivery date. We cannot provide warranty replacements or refunds for products that are not covered under warranty.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange:
- The item must be UNUSED
- The item must be in the same condition as received
- The item must be returned in its original packaging
Exchanges are only permitted for items that are defective or damaged and must be requested within 7 days of the purchase date or delivery date, whichever applies.
Warranty Exemptions & Notes
The following are not covered under any warranty:
- Breakage, damage, or discoloration during trial or use
- Liquid damage of any kind (including waterproof or water-resistant products)
All warranties are immediately void if the customer:
- Flashes firmware or roots a device
- Opens the device body to attempt repairs
- Modifies, removes, customizes, or swaps parts
- Uses the product in a manner not intended by the manufacturer
- Continues to use the item after a fault occurs, causing further damage
Wear & Tear Products
Products subject to wear and tear through repeated use due to their nature and intended usage are exempt from the Standard 30-Day Warranty and are covered only under the 48-hour DOA policy if found to be defective or damaged out of the box.
This exemption does not apply where the item is defective upon delivery.
Such products include, but are not limited to:
- Spare parts
- Mobile accessories
- Cable accessories
- Auto accessories
- Wearable technology
It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully inspect these items immediately upon delivery.
Promotional, Giveaway & FREE Items
Free promotional items are subject to availability while stocks last and do not form part of the core purchase.
Free promotional items are provided at Aevin Gadgets Ltd’s discretion, subject to availability at the time of order fulfillment. Where unavailable, free items may be substituted with an item of equal or greater value, or omitted, without affecting the core product or purchase price.
Any missing promotional or free items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made after this period will not be honored.
Any products that are won, redeemed, or received as part of a promotion, giveaway, competition, or marketing activity are not eligible for any warranty claim, refund, or exchange. This does not affect the consumer’s rights in relation to product safety under applicable laws.
Additionally, FREE items, including those provided as part of a bundled package or promotion, do not qualify for refunds or exchanges at any time.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
Proof of Purchase
All returns, exchanges, or warranty claims require a valid receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will be notified via email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, the refund will be processed within a certain number of business days. As Aevin Gadgets Ltd operates primarily as an online store, refunds may be issued via the original method of payment where possible, or alternatively via store credit or another suitable electronic refund method.
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Sale items are non-refundable, except where the item is defective or not fit for its intended purpose at the time of delivery.
Shipping Returns
Shipping times for exchanged items may vary depending on the customer’s location.
Aevin Gadgets Ltd is not responsible for, nor does it bear the cost of, return shipping, except where otherwise required by law. All return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Restocking Fee Clause
Where a customer requests a refund for reasons not related to a defect in the core product, a restocking fee of up to 15% may be applied to cover administrative, handling, and processing costs.
Where an issue relates solely to a missing or unavailable promotional or free item, Aevin Gadgets Ltd reserves the right to remedy the issue by supplying the missing item, a substitute of equal or greater value, or store credit. A refund of the core product will not be issued once the product has been installed, used, or is no longer in resalable condition.
Credit Card Processing Fee Clause
Credit card payments incur a non-refundable processing fee of 5%, charged by third-party payment processors. In the event of a refund requested by the customer for non-fault reasons, this processing fee will not be refunded.
Important Note
No restocking or processing fees will be applied where a refund is required due to a defective product or where otherwise required by law.
